Youth Ministry

We are a community of high school (9th-12th grade) and middle school (7th-8th grade) teens, adults, and parents centered on leading teens toward an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to create a community where young people can encounter Christ and be formed as disciples. We strive to be authentic, joyful, loving, and evangelical in practicing our Catholic faith. We empower teens to grow in holiness through Scripture, the Sacraments, prayer, retreats, and weekly ministry opportunities high school students. Any high school teen can join us for any event! What is going on in Youth Ministry?

We are so excited for Summer Youth Ministry at St. Gerard! 

Our Summer events include Open office hours, pray and plays, and our 'normal' youth groups! (you can check the group me or instagram for the most current offerings)

We also are going to Steubenville July 11-13th! Please pray for us. Steubenville is a wonderful opportunity for the teens to encounter the Church and the Lord in a beautiful way. Teens will have opportunities to encounter Jesus through a variety of talks, small groups, and the Sacraments. It should be a weekend packed with grace. 

Totus Tuus, a catechetical summer program, is coming to SGM again this year! The dates for Totus Tuus this year are July 14th-18th! 8 missionaries will be present at SGM to bring the faith and love of Jesus and Mary to the teens of SGM. 

NIGHTLY programming will take place starting on the 14th. It will last until the 18th! Meet us in the youth room from 7-9PM. We are so excited to see you there!
