Welcome to St. Gerard Majella Catholic Preschool!  My name is Kathy Gallagher and I, along with Katie Hicks teach the 3-4 year old Teddy Bear Preschool class.  We are honored and excited to be your child’s first teachers outside the home!

I have worked in the field of Early Childhood for many years in various positions.  I have been a Parent Educator with Parents as Teachers, an Assistant Director of a Child Care Center, as well as a Lead Early Childhood Teacher.  My most recent positions were at my home parish of Little Flower as the Lead Three Year Old Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, and at St. Peter in Kirkwood as a Part-Time Aide in the 2nd Grade. 

I love teaching young children and being a part of their learning, discovery and growth.  My husband and I are the proud parents of three wonderful kids who are all in, or have graduated from Catholic schools.  I am committed to Catholic Education and I am so happy to be here at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Preschool as your child begins their journey!

Education:  Benedictine College-Bachelor’s Degree 
                Webster University-Master of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood Education
