What exactly does one do as a Lazarus volunteer? There are many tasks the family will need help with the day of the Mass: clearing off the round table so that pictures and prayers cards can be displayed, programs can be put out, setting up easels for collages, placing floral arrangements in the Resurrection Chapel and/or the Church in accordance with the family’s wishes, a small table placed at the front of the sanctuary for cremains, putting out Kleenex boxes at the ends of the first two or three pews etc. If anything is too heavy for you to move, don’t be shy! We’ll get it moved. If you have compassion, a willingness to ease peoples’ burdens, then this is for you.
