Signup is required for the Christmas Masses.  In an effort to ensure that everyone who signs up for the Christmas Masses is seated based on the social distancing guidelines we will be requiring everyone to show either a printout of your signup confirmation email or show it on your phone. The St. Vincent DePaul Christmas Toy Collection at SGM will take place on the weekend of December 5/6th. The 2 major contributors to the program are the Parish School of Religion and parishioners without children in our elementary school. Advent Vespers and Confession
Each Wednesday during the season of Advent (Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23), Vespers will be prayed in church at 7:00pm followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Confessions will be offered at this time as well. All are invited to come and prepare your hearts for the celebration of Christmas.

This month’s menu is a small canned ham (not refrigerated), spam, or Treet, canned sweet potatoes, green beans, applesauce (plastic jar). The optional item is toilet paper. Goal: To nurture the social-emotional and spiritual well-being of our at home community. Parish COVID-19 Update, 11/7
November 7, 2020 Dear St. Gerard Majella Parish Community, I was notified this morning that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have been self-quarantined since I began developing symptoms, and will continue to remain in quarantine until cleared according to the specific guidelines provided by the health department and CDC. As I mentioned in the previous two letters this week, I maintained at least 6 feet of distance from others when celebrating Masses this week, with the exception of the moment of distributing Holy Communion. November 6, 2020 Dear St. Gerard Majella Parish Community, I was notified today that Father Huber has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been quarantined since he began developing symptoms, and will continue to remain in quarantine until he is cleared according to the specific guidelines provided by the health department and CDC. I have not yet received the results of my COVID-19 test, but I am assuming I am positive due to my exposure and symptoms I am experiencing.
