School and PSR are back in session, which means the parish is buzzing! As many of you have noted before, the campus is always busy, but at this time of year, we do have many more cars coming and going from the parking lot. While this is a great sign of the vibrancy of our parish, it also means we have to take extra care for the safety of our children.

Those who have arrived at the parish around 3:00 will know that the parking lot is shut down for school dismissal and pickup. The procedures for pickup and drop-off are very carefully crafted and well refined, including feedback from the local police. It's because of this, and the safety of children walking on the lot, that we close the Dougherty Ferry entrance to traffic trying to enter.

If you are arriving at SGM for adoration or for a meeting, please do not enter from the Dougherty Ferry entrance to the parking lot, which will be blocked beginning around 2:30pm. Instead, please enter the lot through the Ballas entrance, and pull around to your parking spaces. The lot will be reopened by around 3:25 pm.
