Most of you have looked at the calendar this year and noticed that Christmas falls on a Monday, which means that Christmas Eve is also the 4th Sunday in Advent. So we’ll be having our normal schedule for the Sunday Masses, and then more Masses for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! The situation definitely creates some interesting questions, such as whether one Mass can count for both the 4th Sunday in Advent and Christmas. The simple answer is, one Mass cannot fulfill the obligation for both feasts. Sorry, but you can’t double-dip this year!
