The Adult Faith Committee will be hosting a weekly Lenten program starting on Wednesday February 21, and running each Wednesday evening through March 20. We will offer a simple supper of soup and bread in Liguori Hall and we will watch a variety of different talks from the recent SEEK conference. This will be followed by group discussions. The doors will open at 6:00 and the video will start promptly at 6:30. Most of them are approximately thirty minutes long. After we watch the video we will have time to discuss what we have seen. The dates and schedule of talks are as follows.
Feb. 21- Msgr. James Shea: The Weight of Our Brokenness
Feb. 28- Fr. Mike Schmitz: Pray the Mass like Never Before
March 6- Sr. Mary Grace: 10 Tips on Living in Peace at All Times
March 13-Msgr. James Shea: Love for the Church in a Post-Christian Age
March 20- Bishop Andrew Cozens: Why You Need a Eucharistic Revival
This is a perfect opportunity during the Lenten season to grow our faith, share a meal, build community, and enjoy some wonderful talks and discussions. Please plan on joining us for one or all of the weeks, if you are can. All are welcome.
