There's lots going on this month for music ministry!

This year is my first attempt at putting together an intergenerational group to sing at Mass on Sunday, August 11. Everyone is welcome to come and sing. I'm offering 2 rehearsal dates and times — Wednesday, August 7 at 4:00 or Thursday, August 8, at 7:00 pm. You only need to come to 1! Please plan on being part of this great new group!

Sunday, August 18, is another chance for all women to come together and sing at the 9:00 am Mass. There is one rehearsal on Thursday, August 15 at 7 pm.

Saturday August 24 is another chance for the men in the parish to come and sing for the 5:00 Mass. There will be one rehearsal just before Mass on the 24th.

All parish children are invited to come and sing at the "Welcome Back, SGM" fest on Saturday, August 24, at 7:00 pm. There will be two group numbers: "Consider Yourself" and a medley of Disney tunes! There are two required rehearsals, Sunday, August 11, and Sunday, August 18, both in the Church from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Ages 5-12 are welcome.

A new group has been formed for our older middle and high school kids. It's called the KFJ Singers (Kids for Jesus). They will also have their premier performance on the 24th.This is for you if you like to sing more contemporary praise and worship music in harmony! It is limited to 15 singers at this time. There will be 2 required rehearsals, Sunday, August 11 and Sunday, August 18 from 1:00-2:00 pm.  Reach out to Penny at the Parish office to sign up or with questions, 314-965-3985, music@sgmparish.org.
