The St. Vincent DePaul Christmas Toy Collection at St. Gerard Majella Parish will take place on the weekend of December 7/8. The 2 major contributors to the program are the Parish School of Religion (PSR), and parishioners without children in our elementary school. However all parishioners are encouraged to participate in our toy drive. Many children receive no other gifts other than what we give them. The organizations that will benefit from our collection are Guardian Angel Settlement, Ladies of Charity, and Rural Parish Workers. We have worked with these organizations for over 40 years. This is a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of our Lord, by brightening a child's day this Christmas!
Please purchase your gifts for the appropriate age group according to the first letter of your last name as noted below, wrap them, and indicate the age and gender of the child with a label on the gift. We are especially in need of gift cards for teens and tweens, ages 10 to 18. For gift cards, please place in a Christmas card and seal the envelope.
