The other day, our parish concluded our first 40 Hours Devotion with the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benediction. As we were cleaning things up on the sacristy, Fr. Seper, Curt, and I were sharing some of the graces that we had taken away from the weekend. All of us said how inspiring it was to see such a generous and beautiful response from all of our parishioners - between the attendance at our times of communal prayer, organizations like our ACTS Retreat or School Board anchoring themselves in Eucharistic Adoration, or what could almost be considered “crowds” of people gathering for prayer in the silent hours of the night. For being one of the simpler things we have put together as a parish, it bore such beautiful fruit, and as a priest, I can tell you that it was energizing and moving to see it. So I just want to thank you, on behalf of Fr. Seper, our deacons, and our seminarian Curt, for giving such a beautiful witness of your love for Jesus in our parish. Let’s continue to press forward in this holy season of Lent with one focus on Christ sacramentally present to us!
Thank You,
Father Grosch
