This Pentecost, has the Holy Spirit inspired you with a new mission that might include working outside of our parish boundaries? Hands of Christ Missions is a small group of SGM parishioners working on a project for young teenagers in Guatemala. Specifically building a Micro-Business for teenage girls to make soap and someday owning the business. We still need folks to purchase pieces of the soap business so we can finish our project by July. Please stop by and talk with Steve in the Narthex after all the weekend masses to learn more about this Micro-Business project.
We finished painting the outside of the shipping container. The solar panels and interior are being installed and will soon be self-powered using the sun’s energy. Please stop by on Saturday mornings to see what we are working on and consider volunteering to help us build out this project.
Sign-ups for Saturday volunteer sessions can be found in the Narthex after all the weekend masses until the project is finished. Please consider the girls in Guatemala in your prayers that they have a hope and a future full of the Holy Spirit’s outpouring of love through the Hands of Christ at SGM.
