As we announced last week, in light of the recent county order regarding face masks, masks will now be required at all times inside of church and the adoration chapel. This includes throughout the celebration of Holy Mass, with the only exception being the brief moment of receiving Holy Communion. Holy Communion may be received on the tongue only from one of the priests, and all are reminded to not gather in the narthex after Mass. Thank you for your cooperation.
We received word recently of another parishioner who tested positive for the virus. The parishioner has not been present on SGM’s campus at any time since exposure to the virus. I continue to be in touch with the Archdiocese of St. Louis and St. Louis County to ensure that we are following all guidelines.
As a reminder, in order to keep our parish community safe, if you or a loved one are diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID‐ 19), please do not enter our parish grounds and contact me immediately. All are expected to check their temperature and monitor other symptoms before coming to Mass or other activities at SGM.
Let us continue to pray for one another and to practice patience, respect, and charity for all as we navigate these difficult times.
