Our speaker for Advent by Candlelight, Sr. Karolyn is in quarantine due to COVID.  Over the course of 2020, we have had to reimagine traditional gatherings and celebrations.  We will not be gathering in person, however, Sr. Karolyn has graciously agreed to stream her talk for the evening on Zoom, so everyone can hear her speak on the virtue of hope during the Season of Advent.  While this certainly is not the same as our typical yearly gathering, it offers us the most essential aspect of the event.  Join your fellow sisters in the parish and connect to the Zoom Meeting on Friday, December 4th at 7:00 p.m.  Light a candle, settle in, and enjoy Sr. Karolyn’s talk!  Let's joyfully anticipate the coming of our Savior - watch and wait!

If you cannot join us at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Sr. Karolyn’s talk will be recorded and available for viewing on the Parish YouTube Channel.  

Any personal care items you have to donate to Caritas can be dropped off at the parish office (Lisa Vorwerk’s office).

Advent Prayer

Lord Jesus,

Master of both the light and the darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas.

We who have so much to do and seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day,

We who are anxious over many things look forward to your coming among us.

We who are blessed in so many ways long for the complete joy of your kingdom.

We whose hearts are heavy seek the joy of your presence.

We are your people, walking in darkness, yet seeking the light.

To you we say, "Come Lord Jesus!'
