A Men’s Faith Formation Program at SGM this Spring
That Man is You! is alive and will resume January 16th at SGM. It is a faith program to help men to address the pressures and temptations that we face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. What is your desire? This program uses a format of weekly sessions of an hour, with small groups of 7 to 9 men, who gathering virtually or in-person (mindful of COVID). There is a 30 minute video each week followed by small group discussions.
This spring programs runs for 13 weeks, with a special focus on Lent, and how we men might better prepare to make a Lenten Journey in on our calling as men. This program brings together men of like minds in fellowship, to develop relationships to help men in God’s calling to us to be a man fully alive.
This spring session starts the weekend of January 16 -17. We are carrying forward with 45 men registered from the fall, in 6 small groups. Stay connected, reach out, and join in. We welcome any man to this program. You can call or text the contacts below with questions, or to learn which men are active in the program, and which small group they are in.
Cost of the lay-lead program is free; workbooks for each man participating cost $10, plus voluntary donations are accepted from participants.
TMIY men find their spiritual lives deeply enriched. That richness extends to their families and out into the world through their generosity -- of love, of spirit, of time, of self and of means. The grace of God infuses that process, which results in incredible transformation and profound gratitude. That is TMIY's mission, one man, one family at time. We have promotional material available to any man wishing to join in working toward realizing his call from God to become fully alive - as a man, as a husband and as a father.
