At St. Gerard Majella, we have the honor and the privilege of passing on the faith and educating children through our Parish School of Religion program. This important parish ministry is not possible without the many volunteers who dedicate their time and love to our students. Currently, we are seeking first grade catechists for the 2022-2023 school year.

Qualifications: 

Love of the Catholic Faith.

Desire to share the Good News and "keep the memory of God alive."

Enjoy working with children.

Responsibilities:

Prepare lessons using provided curriculum.

Engage children in faith-based activities.

Communicate with parents as needed.

Our Parish School of Religion program takes place on Monday evenings from 5:45 - 7:00 p.m. from August 29th, 2022 through May 22nd, 2023. A stipend is offered for this service. Please contact Lisa Vorwerk at 314-965-3985 (x2818) or parishcre@sgmparish.org for additional information.
